I hope to support ATSAC offer an inclusive membership for all therapists who see clients with addiction and / sexual compulsivity, we need a diverse range of therapists who can enable clients to receive therapeutic approaches that helps them to maintain a positive approach to their sexual and intimate relationships and positive for partners and families.
We are facing a time when sexual fluidity is affecting adults and young people are accessing material that is not age-appropriate for them. This can potentially affect their developing sense of self as sexual, emotional and relational people. We want to have a positive view of themselves and be able to express themselves emotionally and sexually as they would wish. It is important we support the development of training for staff who work with children and or provide access educational information that can enable this positive approach to sexual and intimate life.
