Eoli is a Psychosexual, Relationship, Family, Addiction and Trauma Psychotherapist and founder of New Leaf Therapies Ltd where she offers therapy and supervision. She also works for Relate and provides training to The Counselling Directory community.
With a science background and fluent in Greek and Italian, Eoli managed relationships between international distribution channels for mission critical applications, planning corporate strategies, training, mentoring and supporting organisations to run effectively, considerably increasing their market share. She has also offered advocacy and guidance at her local Women’s Centre.
Intrigued by relationship and cultural dynamics, Eoli gained a Master’s degree in Relationship Therapy (Relate Institute/University of Hull.) To help clients with their psychosexual issues she undertook an additional postgraduate qualification in Psychosexual Therapy (Relate.) As sexual compulsions presented frequently, Eoli pursued further postgraduate studies in Sexual Addiction and Compulsivity (Paula Hall) and Out-of-Control-Sexual-Behaviours (Harvey Institute/Pink Therapy.) With trauma often lying in the heart of addictions/compulsions she became a qualified Trauma Therapist in EMDR (UK/Europe) and Brainspotting (BSP UK.)
Currently training as a Clinical Supervisor, Eoli is
an Accredited Member of UKCP and COSRT
a Registered Member of BACP and the EMDR UK Association
Eoli is passionate about helping others to identify their causes of sexual compulsions, eradicate shame, empowering them and their partners to reconfigure more fulfilling lives and healthier relationships with sex.
With continuous education in the latest developments in psychotherapy and neuroscience Eoli aims to make a difference in the quest of eliminating sexual compulsions and the shame surrounding these.
