Anna is an integrative therapist with a specialism in Working with Sexual addiction / Compulsivity and with relationships. Anna is the Co-director of Cedars Therapy Institute offering numerous training options. CTI offers training for existing therapists to begin their work with relationships as well as delivering the first UK accredited Diploma in Working with Sex Addiction both exploring individuals as well as a couples’ approach.
Anna’s career began with an MSc in Psychology and a PGDip in Relationship therapy gained while working with Relate as a relationship therapist. Anna worked both in person and on the Relate Live chat service and email a counsellor service for several years. Anna became interested in Sexual compulsivity while working with relationships in private practice and recognising the prevalence of this problem, this led to Anna completing the Level 5 Diploma in Working with Sex Addiction.
Anna also founded Emotional Wellbeing Group (EWG Counselling) in 2019. This organisation is a not-for-profit counselling and mental health organisation that focuses on offering low-cost mental health support focused on an integrative approach.
Anna has been on the board for ATSAC now for 6 years and remains passionate about not only ensuring that individuals and couples are able to access the right support for them but that we build awareness of Sexual Addiction/ Compulsivity and disseminate important information to the public. Anna also aims to help ATSAC in providing a diverse range of training and information for professionals working within this field.
